01 Why is proper preparation of ashes important?
Ashes need to be prepared correctly before being placed into soil. On their own, they can be too concentrated and affect natural growth. We carefully combine ashes with soil and compost in balanced proportions, creating the right conditions for healthy, sustainable growth.
02 Is this safe for the environment?
Yes, our process is fully environmentally safe. We use natural, organic materials to prepare the ashes, and the trees we plant are native or non-invasive species that support local biodiversity and healthy ecosystem growth. No harmful chemicals are used at any stage.
03 How does the process work?
We begin by collecting or receiving the ashes, then carefully combine them with organic soil and compost in our workshop. You choose your preferred tree or plant, and we prepare a living memorial ready for planting. We guide you through every step and support you until you feel ready to plant.
04 Do I need to do anything myself?
Not at all. We handle the entire process from beginning to end. Your only role is to choose a meaningful location and plant the tree when you feel the time is right — and even with that, we're here to guide you every step of the way.
05 When should the tree be planted?
There's no rush. Once the memorial is prepared, you can take as much time as you need. Many families choose to plant in spring or autumn for optimal growth, but the decision is entirely yours and we'll support you whenever you feel ready.
06 Where can it be planted?
The tree can be planted in a garden, on private land, or in a meaningful location of your choice. We can advise on suitable spots based on the species selected and help ensure it thrives in its new home. We serve clients across Ireland.
